"Line is an expression of emotion in each of my pieces. It is important for me to work the line to form a final statement. I carry the line with a freedom in which it seems to take on it's own being and I am the medium. Line has infinite possibilities and I try to incorporate into my work as many as I can.

I use color to enhance the line. Color gives sensitivity to my art and is a way to provoke new thinking. My botanical work comes from my soul and because of this it is probably never seen in any garden or arrangement. Sometimes the flowers, plants and trees are strange and uncontrolled. A bit like myself."
